I’m a student at Mars Hill Graduate School, in the MACP (Master’s in Counseling Psychology) program. My school requires future therapists to spend plenty of time in the other chair, so I go to my own weekly counseling.
I like:
-eating $9 cheeseburgers
-pretending I’m flying when I’m biking downhill
-changing the words of worship songs to make them dirty, then singing them to Jack
-the feeling of being seen and known and loved anyway.
I married the most excitable man in the universe. He eats a burrito and talks about it for days. He wildly applauds at the end of really bad movies. It’s adorable.
I started going to a non-Christian bible study 5 years ago and, to the surprise of a lot of people but mostly myself, fell hard for Jesus. Now I go through a lot of religious motions but feel confused and frustrated most of the time.

Christine, I followed the link you left on Eugene Cho’s blog. You are an excellent writer! Very creative. I bookmarked this page in hopes of reading more from you in the future. I do some writing as well at http://www.allthingsnew21.blogspot.com although my writing style is quite a bit different than yours, by which I probably mean less interesting.
Nonetheless, you can check it out if you like. Also, I happen to have a friend at Mars Hill. His name is Scott Small. We were roommates in college. Any chance you know him? I look forward to more of your blogging.
